Friday night barbeque.
Friday night some of the AP teachers went out for barbeque in the Sokcho restaurant district. Koreans know their barbeque, as I've stated before. The restaurant we went to (as most of the finer restaurants), sent a shuttle to pick us up and dropped us off when we were finished. Barbequed pork (which was marinated!), beer, noodles, and a ton of side dishes, ended up costing us $10 per person. Awesome. It was the perfect way to end a school week.
The Star Barbeque.
Tons of side dishes in Korea! Here you can see dishes of garlic (which usually accompany every meal), red pepper paste, and various forms of kimchi.

Ahh...the pork. The cook it over these coals and then cut it up for you. You wrap it in lettuce and sesame leaves and eat it with garlic and whatever you'd like--try the marinated mushrooms and carrot!
