Mt. Cheongdaesan 2.
Cheongdaesan is 230m above sea level. The name Cheongdae means green and comes from the green pine trees that grow nearby.
From this picture you can see the lake we live by (it opens out into the East Sea--it's called Cheongchoho Lake). There's another lake a little north of us called Yeongnangho.
In the middle (above the hill) you can see Expo Tower (which is right down the street from us).Ah...the misty mountains. Sometimes living here makes me feel like I am living in one of Tolkein's books.

Which part makes you feel like you are in one of Tolkien's books? The skyscrapers in the background, or the landscape covered with Asians with walking sticks?
