The view from our place.
Do you recognize these foods? Let's see how good your Korean is! Everything here, from signs, to documents, to books, to packaging, is all written in hangul. It's apparently pretty easy to learn, but we haven't gotten the hang of it yet. There are only 10 vowels and 14 consonants. These are a few of our staples at the moment (water, Ritz crackers, Almond Flakes, yellow corn, canned peaches, chocolate chip cookies, and Ramen).
This is the view from our balcony at the back of our apartment. These mountains are part of Seoraksan National Park, which is basically smack dab in our backyard.
This is AP (which stands for Advanced Placement, and also for Ability and Pride) English School. It is on the third floor of this building, which is a 5-minute walk from our apartment. AP is on the third floor, where the windows are wrapped in green. AP has two buildings, and this is the one for the younger (elementary-aged) kids. This is where I teach everyday from 2 to around 5.
