A chronicle of Paul and Aubrey's adventures and experiences in Sokcho, South Korea and beyond as they teach English for a year.

Around Sokcho port.

Today we walked by the dock where the fishing boats pull in and unload their fish, shrimp, and squid. If you look closely, you can see the lighthouse in the background. This part of Sokcho reminds me a lot of the port in Denia, Spain.

Dried fish and squid...ready for sale!

Paul walking by an open-air fish shop. Note the dried squid hanging from the awning.

We stopped at a bakery on the way back for a pastry. I don't know what mine was called, but it was covered in slivered almonds and had pistachio paste inside--yum! Posted by Picasa
