A chronicle of Paul and Aubrey's adventures and experiences in Sokcho, South Korea and beyond as they teach English for a year.

Tonight we experienced the generosity of our friends again. Viviana and Jong Mahn (our friends from church) tend to call during the week even if we don't see them on Sundays after mass. They must have remembered that Paul said he'd been sick, because an hour ago Jong Mahn hand-delivered a box of Korean melons. We asked him to come inside, but he declined. But there was a note on the box that read:

Paul! I know you're very difficult to overcome, but you need to act like as you feel good. I hope these organic Korean melons do this job perfectly. Please keep in mind warm clothes and maintain always constant room temperature. -From, Bianna and Jayeme Hong

They are so thoughtful!
