What's this song?

Well, if you're Aubrey and you're teaching your 3B middle school class about Martin Luther King and the very famous patriotic song that he quoted in his "I Have a Dream" speech, this song is known as "the national anthem".

Unfortunately, for Aubrey and her now-misguided middle school students, The Star-Spangled Banner has the distinction of being the USA's national anthem. Put me down as thinking that the song above or something like America the Beautiful makes more sense as our national anthem (such songs are more about America itself -- not just our glorious flag -- and are easier to sing and remember). Be that as it may, facts, as John Adams once noted, are stubborn things. No word yet on whether a retraction will be forthcoming.

Sorry, but that song is actually "God save the Queen, the National Anthem of Great Britain. At least it was, until it was defaced by American terrorists / tax dodgers / patriots / rebels.
