It's official: we're not leaving

Yes, that's correct. Aubrey and I have decided to stay in South Korea for another year. We'll be teaching at the same hagwon and living in the same apartment. It's a great lifestyle here. There are downsides, don't get me wrong. Nothing's perfect. But overall, we feel like the advantages for us, at this stage in our lives, outweigh the disadvantages. We know that we won't get a chance to experience what we do every day ever again. We know that this is a special opportunity. We just want to make the most of it.

So that's the latest big news. We'll be home for a quick visit around Christmas, but that, unfortunately, will be the only visit to the US for a little while.
